Truthiness in ‘08: Which candidate has the most truthiness?
So which candidate spouts the most truthiness?
Ron Paul, obviously. His supporters are complete nutjobs. They just support him ‘cuz it feels like he makes sense. He’s a crackpot.
Next on the list (as much as it pains me): Barack Obama. He tells us what we want to hear (that he’s “New Politics” and was against Iraq from the beginning) and looks like what we want him to be (African American, black, biracial, however you want to put it). As a symbol, he is perfect in every way. As a candidate, he is slick and skilled. Much of my support for him is based on actual book-facts, but I would be lying to myself if I denied that my gut instinct (truthiness) that Obama is the right candidate didn’t play a role in my decision.
Tomorrow: Obama has more truthiness than McCain…but who has more fact? Look for the continuation of “Truthiness in ‘08“!
